Upgrades to the overpass located directly before Marine Atlantic’s North Sydney terminal property are underway by the Government of Nova Scotia. 

It is anticipated that work will commence on Monday, July 22 near the ticket booth entrance to our property. The majority of the work in this area, anticipated to be ongoing for approximately two weeks, is planned for overnight hours. 

Customers arriving at the terminal from approximately 23:30 until 06:30 will be re-directed to the security entrance at Purves Street. Marine Atlantic staff will be on hand to further direct any arriving traffic for check-in.

Work is now complete on the lanes exiting the terminal property toward the highway.
